Courses are offered in Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Pali, Persian, Sanskrit, and Tibetan. An intensive summer course in Tibetan is offered through the Summer Language Institute. Students may apply to advanced language study programs abroad (see our Academic Year and Summer program information pages), including the American Institute of Indian Studies programs in India.
