Graduate Programs
The South Asia Center does not have an independent degree program, however students wishing to pursue a Masters degree can do so through the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies.
Graduate students with an interest in South Asian Studies can also pursue MA and PhD programs in the departments of Anthropology, Art History, History, Religious Studies, and Politics.

Undergraduate Major or Minor in South Asian Studies
While the Center does not offer undergraduate degrees in South Asian Studies, a student can focus on South Asian Studies through the two majors offered by the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures.The major in Middle Eastern and South Asian Languages and Literatures offers concentrations in Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit, and Urdu. The major in Middle Eastern Studies and South Asian Studies offers a regional concentration in South Asia. A minor in Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies is also offered.
