Old Russian and 18th-Century Literature (1 hour)

• Identify and comment briefly on ten (10) of the following items (20 minutes) [15 items]
• Answer two of the following questions (40 minutes) [4 choices]
• Choose one (1) of the following topics and write a detailed, well-organized essay. Be specific and use as many examples as possible (1 hour) [2 choices]

Second Day

• Movements and Genres. Answer one (1) of the following questions (30 minutes) [2 choices]
• Poetry. Answer one (1) of the following questions (30 minutes) [2 choices]
• Prose and Drama. Answer two (2) of the following questions (30 minutes EACH) [4 choices]
• Linguistics. Answer the following questions in as much detail as you can (1 hour)
