Obtaining Audition Excerpts
Register for a username and password.
Why do we need to register to obtain audition excerpts?
The password protected site helps to insure that the University is in compliance with BMI and ASCAP regulations. By asking the user to submit their name and e-mail in order to receive the password for the auditions page, the University can be reasonably assured that the excerpts are being used only for audition purposes by users who intend to audition for the Charlottesville and University Symphony Orchestra.
The first time the user clicks on one of the Symphony excerpts they will be prompted to add their username and password. If the user selects the cancel button, they will be taken to this page, where they can access the link to the registration form. Once they register they will be sent the user name and password. The user should only need to submit the user name and password the first time they click on an audition excerpt.
