The Arts Box Office is located in the lobby of the Culbreath Theatre building. Free box office parking is available in the parking garage immediately outside the Culbreath lobby doors. .The Arts Box Office is open from noon until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday at the Culbreath Theatre building. The Arts Box Office moves to Old Cabell Hall on the night of a performance and starts selling tickets one hour before showtime.

Tickets may be purchased at the Arts Box Office web site (www.artsboxoffice.virginia.edu) or by calling the Arts Box Office phone number (434) 924-3376 or in person at the Arts Box Office during their normal business hours. If the sale is processed within one week of the event, your tickets will be put in Will Call and must be picked up at the performance.
Seats are available for handicapped patrons in the Handicapped Box. Availability and price vary by show, although generally they are the same price as loge tickets. We can sell Handicapped Box tickets to non-handicapped patrons if they wish to sit with a handicapped person. However, please be aware that if the box fills up, the non-handicapped patrons will be asked to move to other seats.

The Tuesday Evening Concert Series typically sells out before the season begins; however, individual concert tickets may be obtained by getting on the waiting list for returned tickets. Each full time UVA student may recieve one (1) free student ticket to each event sponsored by the McIntire Department of Music, if that ticket is ordered at least one day in advance from the Arts Box Office web page. www.artsboxoffice.virginia.edu
All ticket orders must be accompanied by payment. All sales are final. Refunds and exchanges are not available. If you are unable to attend a performance, you may donate your tickets to the Music Department for resale. To return tickets for resale, call the box office at 434.924-3376. The value of the returned ticket(s) may be eligible for a charitable contribution income tax deduction. Tickets must be returned to the box office 24 hours in advance of the performance in order to be eligible for this deduction.
Latecomer policy varies with each event. We advise that you arrive at least forty five minutes before a performance if you need to purchase tickets or pick up tickets from Will Call, and at least a half an hour prior if you already have tickets. Doors open a half hour before concert start time. In most instances, our doors are shut at the start of the performance and will not be reopened until the first piece has finished. At this time, you will only be allowed into the balcony, even if your seats are on the main level. In some instances, you will not be admitted to the Hall until intermission. Therefore, we recommend that you arrive on time, allowing extra time to park and reach Old Cabell Hall from the parking lot.
Please note, no food, drinks, cameras, or other recording devices are allowed in the Concert Hall. Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the building. As a courtesy to artists and other patrons, please turn off your beepers and cell phones before entering the auditorium. If you need to be reached in case of emergency, please leave your beeper and seat location with a house manager.
