Michael Rosensky

Michael Rosensky, Jazz and Classical Guitar

B.M. from Manhattan School of Music, B.A. University of Virginia, M.A. University of Virginia. Studies with Emily Remler. Has taught at Longwood College, the Tandem School, and Piedmont Community College. Extensive freelance experience as a jazz guitarist, including performances with the Mike Rosensky/Jeff Decker Quartet. Has appeared in concert in New York City with the New Music Consort, the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, and Christopher Lamb, principal percussionist with the New York Philharmonic, along with other chamber and contemporary music performances at Symphony Space, Merkin Concert Hall, Weill Recital Hall, and at the Bowdoin and Brandeis summer music festivals. Co-founder of the New Music Chamber Ensemble, Ekko!
