Voice Faculty Recital

UVA Vocal Faculty members Randall Ball, tenor, Kate Carr, soprano, James Taylor, tenor, Pamela Beasley, soprano and Chris Owens, tenor, will appear in joint recital on Sunday evening, Feb 24 at 8:00 pm in Old Cabell Hall Auditorium. Musical guests appearing on the program include collaborative pianists David Norfrey, Charles Staples, John Mayhood, and tenor Alba Beasley. Works by Roger Quilter, Enrique Granados, Fernando Obradors, Richard Strauss, Henri Duparc, and arranged by Hale Smith will be presented. The faculty will join forces to present the famous "Libiamo ne' lieti calici" from Verdi's "La Traviata."
