The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia administers advanced degree programs (MA, MFA, MS, PhD) in approximately 30 disciplines ranging from the fine and performing arts to the physical sciences, as well as several programs jointly with other schools at UVA. With a total enrollment of nearly 2,000 (including students from 87 foreign countries) the students of GSAS are some of the best and most creative scholars in the world.
