The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences administers advanced degree programs in approximately 30 disciplines ranging from the fine and performing arts to the physical sciences, as well as several programs jointly with other schools at U.Va. With a total enrollment of nearly 2,000 students (including students from 87 foreign countries) the students of GSAS are some of the best and most creative scholars in the world.
