International/Development

This workshop sponsors a semi-weekly speaker series on topics that include international trade and economic development. This year, scheduled speakers include Jonathan Vogel (Columbia) on the effects of technology and offshoring on US labor markets, Mushfiq Mobarak (Yale) on the effects of electrification in Brazil, and several other outside speakers including a mini-conference on the new micro-econometrics of International Trade.
