Anya Abouzeid: I will be attending UVa next year for medical school.

Michael Allen: I will be back in Dallas (my hometown) this summer studying for MCATs and applying to medical schools. I will then travel to Kenya to work with a missionary doctor through the organization, Africa Inland Mission. I will work firsthand with a surgeon in Kijabe, Kenya for two months. I then hope to enter medical school in the Fall of 2000.

Michael Anderson: I will be a UK Teaching Fellow at Bryanston School in Dorset, England.

Kate Ashford: I will be working for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in Northern Virginia.

Megan Atthowe: Next year I will be attending UVa's School of Nursing as a member of the Second-degree to Masters program.

Matthew Ballenger: I will be attending law school at UVa.

Louise Barbato: I will be doing Teach for America in Eastern North Carolina.

Cynthia Bechter: I will be working at Salomon Smith Barney as an Investment Banking Analyst.

George Becker: Next year I will be going to Indiana University School of Music to study choral conducting.

Peter W.E. Becker: I will be getting married on June 12, spending a few weeks in Italy on our honeymoon, and then starting work on July 12. I am working for Harris Williams & Co., a Richmond-based investment banking firm that specializes in "middle-market" mergers and acquisitions.

Brent Bickley: I am deferring law school (Harvard) for a year and working in Germany. During the year away from school, I'll be doing legal work (a product liability study) for a German chemical company -- studying their products' liabilities under American Law.

Mandy Biles: Attending UVa Law

Christen Borgman: Next year I am (getting married!) and working at the Center for Public Justice in Annapolis and doing some grant writing/community relations for a nonprofit ministry in Anacostia--Kid's Konnection.

Jamieson Bourque: I will be attending the Duke University School of Medicine in the fall.

Chris Bowers: My post-graduation plans are to travel this summer, then start work with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in DC. My group specifically is Strategy, Finance, and Economics.

Logan Breed: After graduation, I will be working in DC this summer (as a paralegal for a law firm called Sidley & Austin), getting married (on August 14th) and entering UVa Law School in the fall.

Meg Buchanan: I will be attending the University of Maryland at College Park for the next two years pursuing an M.A. in College Student Personnel. I will be working as the graduate assistant for transfer admissions while working on my M.A.

Jessica Casaletto: I will be attending Duke University as a member of the Program in Cell and Molecular Biology (a PhD program through Duke Medical Center).

Deepa Channaiah: I plan to attend medical school after graduation (still not sure which one--waiting on the schools at which I am wait-listed).

Nanda Channaiah: I will be attending Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Matt Chayt: My plans are to move to Los Angeles and work in the film/television industry.

Ryan Chen: Medical School, but don't know which one yet.

David Chernauskas: I am one of those third years who are graduating early. I'm not going very far though; I'll be pursuing my PhD next year in the Microbiology department here at UVa.

Samuel K. Cho: Research at UPenn School of Medicine; part-time student at Westminster Theological Seminary; after one year., medical school as MD/PhD candidate.

Justin Cooke: I will be working in San Francisco for Burson-Marstellar, an international public relations firm.

Basak Coruh: I will be working as a research specialist at the UVa hospital for two years after graduation. I hope to attend medical school in two years.

Tony DeJarnette: M.A. Program in Philosophy at Tufts

Sara E. Donley: I'm doing a one-year Masters of Study (M.St.) in Religion at New College, Oxford with six other people. Program doesn't start until October so for the summer months I'm going to NYC and interning for an urban policy research institute.

Dan Cunnane: I will be attending Yale University to work on my Ph.D. in History.

Sarah Curtis-Fawley: After graduation I will be directing a research project for the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Adolescent Development and Juvenile Justice. I will be here in Cville, working with professors in the Law School and the Psychology Department. After 2 years, I hope to enter a doctoral program in Community Psychology.

Ann Marie Czaba: Here are my short-term plans for post-graduation, with some ambiguity thrown in: this summer, I will be working and volunteering in the theater world in Boston. Then in September, I will be back in DC with an internship at Arena Stage in Media Relations, which runs until June. After that?...We shall see.

George Dahl: I'm planning to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School in the Fall after graduation.

Kate deRosset: I will be goofing off with my brother Louis in California until I move to New York in June or July to start work as an analyst with Goldman Sachs.

Tobin Dickerson: My post-graduation plans are...well to stay here another year. I have been accepted into the graduate program here for Chemistry. I plan to stay here at least one year (i.e. get my MS in Chemistry) and then, hopefully move on to a MD/PhD program somewhere.

Raj Doshi: I will be working in New York City for McKinsey & Company next year.

Azish Filabi: I plan on biking cross-country this summer and am flying to CA on June 15th to begin the trip. I'll bike into DC late August and then will live in Arlington and work in McLean, VA as an assistant manager at Greenberry's Coffee & Tea Co.

Tom Fletcher: I will be attending graduate school next year at UNC Chapel Hill to study Computer Science.

Sarah Flowers: I am moving to L.A. in September to work in the film industry.

David Fontana: I will be attending Yale Law School in the fall.

Weston Fox: My plans are to work for the Boston Consulting group in Chicago.

Emily Franklin: I graduated in December with a biology major and I am currently working for Anne Ungar in the Bio Dept. on zebrafish development and genetics. I will be attending graduate school here at UVa in the fall.

Jesse Gerstein: As of now, I've been accepted to Teach For America, and I'm planning on doing that for the next two years. I haven't received my placement yet, but should within the next few days.

Erin Ghelber: I will be attending Georgetown University next fall for the Masters of Sciences in Foreign Service Program.

Duane Gibson: My post-graduation plans are to attend the Washington and Lee University School of Law to receive a J.D. and then an LL.M.

Andra Gillespie: I\'ll be starting a Ph.D. program in Political Science and African American Studies at Yale in the Fall. I have no idea where I\'ll be living at this point, but my e-mail address will be .

Sarah Godsey: I will be traveling in Europe for about a month after graduation. I will then be doing atmospheric research in the Marshall Islands until mid-September. After that, I hope to continue to pursue various short or long term field research opportunities for about one to two years, with a possible interruption of those plans to do forestry work with the Peace Corps in Latin America. Then grad. school? Then maybe "a real job"? :)

Lee Graber: Moving to Seattle: Software Developer for Microsoft.

Atul Gupta: I'm not exactly sure where I will be going to medical school next year, but most likely I will be here at UVa. I am waiting to get off of the wait-list at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Peter Haar: Next year I will be in the MD/PhD program at the Medical College of Virginia. At this point, I am planning on pursuing my PhD in either Neuroscience or Biomedical Engineering.

Kathryn Hamilton: I'm debating between moving to New York City to pursue a book publishing career and moving to Lima, Peru, because my parents are living there and it seems a crime to not take advantage of the opportunity to live in South America rent-free. A little further in the future, I intend to apply to PhD programs in both American Studies and English, and hope to wind up a happy professor in some tree-shaded university.

Michael Hanshew: I am going to MCV for their Pre-medical/Basic Health Sciences Certificate in Physiology.

Rodgers Harshbarger: I'm moving to New York and hopefully finding a job.

Benjamin Hatch: I will be attending Harvard Law School for the next three years.

Tara Heberling: After graduation I plan to be working as a legal secretary in downtown C'ville and competing in the United Country Western Dance Council's Pro-Am.

Michael Herce: In all likelihood I will be a teacher with Teach for America, but that depends a lot on my location placement.

Kori Hudson: I will be attending Medical School here at UVa in the fall.

Billy Irvin: Going to the Czech Republic for a two-month mission assignment through a partnership with Virginia Baptists--will be working with youth camps. Afterwards, will either be attending medical school or working in a clinical pharmacology lab at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.

Kevin Jo: I will probably be studying medicine at Vanderbilt University next year. However, that is not completely definite.

Erica Johnson: I'm graduating as a Classics major. This fall, I'll be attending medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Alana Karen: I am staying in Charlottesville to do web/graphic design next year. I'll be living out in the country.

Colleen Karnas: I am one of those third years graduating this year. After graduation I will pursue a PhD in Audiology at the University of Maryland.

Lisa Kijewski: Beginning in July, I will be working in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York City.

Kristina Killgrove: I am graduating with majors in archaeology and classics. In the fall, I will be moving to North Carolina to study human osteology at UNC and to be an intern in the physical anthropology lab at Wake Forest.

Chad Komocki will be returning to his hometown, Cleveland, Ohio for a short stint with his family. From which he will embark upon a career of loving, learning, and sharing the joys of life with the world. He will undergo extensive mathematical and musical training and develop extraordinary techniques in order to move sound with the greatest precision and care. He sends his love and support to his peers, and wishes them happiness with their careers. Keep your eyes and ears open, for Chad will arrive in your city one day, and you'll be sure to enjoy the festival.

Sean Koenig: Graduate School in Chemistry at the University of California, San Diego.

Rob Korty: I am entering graduate school at M.I.T. to study meteorology next fall.

Charlotte Kraenzle: I am going to work for AMS (American Management Systems) in No. Virginia, starting August 2nd, in a business analyst role. In the mean time, I hope to travel--Boston, the Caribbean?

Britt Krivicitch: Oxford is wonderful! I've been going to plays, punting, rowing, and reading philosophy and theology. I'm not sure what my plans are for next year, but I will probably stay in England and pursue postgraduate work at Oxford beginning this fall.

Jason Kurzer: I shall be attending the University of Michigan for the MSTP for the next decade or so.

Tanya Lau: I will be working in Radio Free Asia in DC as a journalist.

Anne Lawrence: Will begin work with the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC this August as a research assistant for financial service providers. Have deferred acceptance to UVA Law School and plan to attend in fall of 2000 or 2001.

Andrey Lebedev: I'm joining the graduate program in physics at Harvard University.

Jennifer Lerner: In the fall I will be starting the Ph.D. program in Sociology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Chris Love: I will be attending Harvard University in the fall for a Ph.D. program in Chemistry.

Eric Lyders: I will be attending MCV, UVa Med, or Georgetown med next year. I don't know which one yet.

Nathan Mah: After graduating with a BS in Chemistry, I plan on joining the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Officer Corps to serve as a military officer aiding government scientists in their work.

Jonathan Merten: I'm graduating with a BS in chem and am waiting to hear from the Peace Corps about a post in Africa.

Geoff Milanovich: Going to grad school in nuclear physics at UNC-CH.

Jen Miller: After concentrating in American Studies and Media here at UVA, I will be moving to Atlanta for a job with the Information Services/Technology department at HOME DEPOT. I want to ultimately get into web development.

Kathleen Mullen: After graduation I am heading off to the University of Chicago, where I will work toward a PhD in Economics.

Satish Nagula: I'll be going to Yale University for Med school next year!

Jill Nussbaum: I am attending the Interactive Telecommunications program at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

Lesley Pate: I will be staying here to attend Virginia Law.

James Patten: I will be working on a master's degree at the MIT Media Lab.

Emily Paulson: The first thing I am doing after graduation is spending 6 weeks in Europe, backpacking around with no schedule or constraints :). Then, next fall I am going to head north and go to Yale or U Penn medical school. Hopefully, I will end up specializing in some field of pediatrics.

Vikas Pershad: I'll be working in Merrill Lynch's Investment banking group (Mergers & Acquisitions Division) in their New York office, beginning in July.

Kathy Phan: Next year I will be attending medical school here at UVa.

Sean Polyn: I've decided to stay in Charlottesville for another year. I'm working in a lab in Cobb Hall programming and studying neural networks. We are doing simulations of hippocamal activity and I will be presenting a poster at the Computational Neuroscience Convention in Pittsburgh this summer on the role of Dentate Gyrus/Entorhinal Cortex activity in the predictive ability of the hippocampus. Beyond that, I will probably publish a second collection of comic strips, seeing as the first one "Shallow Grave Collected" sold so well at the UVa bookstore and at comic stores in Charlottesville. I have been publishing comics on the web at http://polyn.com/, and plan to expand the site over the summer.

Pat Pontius: as of right now, I will be an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles for teach for America. I deferred a job with Andersen consulting, so when I finish tea, I will join Andersen in Washington, DC.

Maria Pulzetti: I finally know! I will be pursuing independent research through the Russian-U.S. Young Leadership Fellows program, sponsored by the USIA (U.S. Information Agency). I'll be in Russia, although it is not yet decided which city. It's a new fellowship--this is the first year, so it is exciting. It sounds like a tremendous opportunity.

Justin Reich: I will have successfully graduated and will return for Grad School in American History in the fall.

Andrea Restivo: Economics and Government major doing Economic and Litigation consulting for Peterson Consulting Worldwide in Pittsburgh.

Sarah Rosen: I will be going to medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in Piscataway, NJ.

Erin Rupprecht: I will be working in Washington, DC for a health care consulting company called the Advisory Board.

Gavin Sacks: I will be attending Cornell University, for the Ph.D. program in Chemistry.

Sarah Schwarm: I'm going to the University of Washington for their PhD program in computer science.

Christi Sell: I will be attending medical school at the University of Virginia next year.

Paul Shaffer: I am going to be attending Duke University in the Cell & Molecular Biology Program

Heather Shelsta: Next year I will be attending Yale medical school.

Aaron Shon: I've been accepted to the graduate computer science program at the University of Washington. I've deferred admission for a year to continue work with a research group in the medical school.

Rumana Siddiky: I will be attending New York University Law School in the fall, and as of right now, I am planning on concentrating in International Law.

Robert Sisk: Medical School either at University of Kentucky or Emory University.

Kathryn E. Smith: I will be working in McLean, Virginia as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at The Maderia School next year.

Kerri Smith: I will be attending Harvard Medical School in the fall.

Jamila Smoot: Next fall I will begin law school at UVa.

Erin Marie Sonn: My post-graduation plans are to spend the summer at home in Virginia Beach, VA and then begin working in September for Tucker Alan, Inc., a litigation consulting firm.

Jim Steichen: Next year I'll be going to Germany for a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship. I'll be teaching English at the Voltaire Gesamtschule in Potsdam.

Timothy Stinson: I will be entering the PhD program here in the English department this September and plan to continue performing with my jazz group (The Timothy Stinson Trio/Quartet).

Anita Tam: after graduation this May, I will be working as the Research Coordinator at the Behavioral Medicine Center in the UVa Hospital for one year. Graduate school for Psychology is likely to follow afterwards.

Rene J. Theriault III: I will be attending Harvard Law School next year.

Natalie Timmers: I'm going to law school at the University of Pennsylvania next year.

Amy Tsou: Next year I'll be attending Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and the year after that I'll probably heading off to med school

Mary Alice Tyson: I will be working in Washington, DC, for US Senator Jeff Sessions as a staff assistant. Senator Sessions is a Republican, and the junior senator from Alabama.

Krishna Udayakumar: Next year, I will be attending medical school at Duke University.

Shannon Michele VanderPas: I will be attending UVa medical school on a Navy Scholarship, and will owe the navy 8 years after that!

Rawley Vaughan: I'll be teaching at the Uppingham School in Rutland, England, thanks to the University's "U.K. Fellows" program. The fellowship lasts one year.

Jeremy Weiss: I will be attending graduate school in computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Janet Wescott: My current plan is to move to Raleigh, N.C. and find a social work position, hopefully with at-risk youth. I don't have the exact job yet, but that's my field of interest.

Yasmin Jilla: I am planning to attend med school at UVa.
