Class of the 1970's

JIM HOLT '76, is a freelance journalist and broadcaster. He does pieces for the BBC World Service and writes book reviews for the Wall Street Journal. He also has a column in Lingua Franca and writes for the on-line journal Slate. His address is: 150 Neal Street, Portland, ME 04101.

JOHN HARRISON '77, is now (1998) Associate Professor in UVa's Law School.

MARJORIE ADAMS '78, did an MBA at Chicago, worked some years at consulting, got a Ph.D. in marketing at the Wharton School, and is now (1998) teaching here at UVa in the Darden School.

KENNETH MALM '78, is president of Craftmark, a large homebuilding firm in the D.C. area.

BRENDA STEVENSON '78, Life in Black and White: Family and Community in the Slave South (Oxford U Press).
Brenda is associate professor of history at UCLA; the book focuses on everyday life in Loudoun County VA, and UVa's Edward Ayers calls it "eloquent, original, and humane" (P.79).

DAVID BAROL '79, is principal in the financial advising firm called The Sowers Group Ltd., in Horsham PA, near Philadelphia.
