Oscar --- Oscar is a Web-based showcase for stories about scholarship, creative endeavors and research at U.Va. The name Oscar is an acronym for this online guide to scholarship, creativity and research. Every month, a new set of stories will be featured on Oscar's home page. Those who have subscribed to our email list will receive our eNewsletter with links to the latest news. Oscar is a guide to the intellectual pursuits under way here. Explore the searchable database of people, projects and organizations where you can find information about work on specific topics. Browse the features which tell the in-depth story of specific faculty activity. If you are a faculty member, go visit our instructions to learn about the other features that faculty can use in Oscar. The fully functional Web site will place initial emphasis on the College of Arts & Sciences and will eventually include other U.Va. schools. The news component will also feature headline items from outside U.Va.
Explorations- Explorations highlights individual faculty members and collaborative research teams engaged in cutting-edge research at U.Va. It is published in the fall, winter and spring. The office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies maintains the web version of their print publication.
Research News -is maintained by the office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies staff. Research News Publicizes current discoveries, therapies and research in all disciplines across Grounds. It is an online publication with content that is updated weekly. The Research News site also links to faculty honors and awards, recent faculty grants, and upcoming events.
