The application consists of one essay of no more than four pages (double spaced) in which the applicant describes their proposed plan for study abroad including your academic interests and future goals. The applicant should be sure to include how the Murphy Scholarship will assist them in the pursuit of their goals. Applicants should also submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member familiar with their work.
The application essay (double spaced, in print, not by email or fax) and recommendation letter should be submitted to Assistant Dean Shawn Lyons, College of Arts and Sciences, 103 Monroe Hall.
