Gordon Stewart, Associate Dean, CLAS Question of performance courses and the grading options (MUSI and DRAM)

1. Academic Chair Len Schoppa appointed a sub-committee to inquire into and make recommendations concerning guidelines for defining, grading, and setting possible limits of "performance courses." CEPC members Matthew Affron (Art) and Lee Kennedy (Drama) will serve, seeking additional representation from the Department of Music.

2. The CEPC rescinded its designation November 2, 2005, of DRAM 246, 247, 248, 249 to be offered only as CR/NC and subject to the existing 8.0 maximum for "performance" credits in Music.

Eric Patashnik, Politics, ericpat, page 1-13 To propose a Program in Public Policy Approved Program to begin in the fall semester, 2007. For now the College will carry the description, with anticipated course titles in the Undergraduate and Graduate RECORDS. Formal approval of the courses is expected to follow upon timely submission, for new courses, of the usual supporting documents.
