The Arts & Sciences Annual Fund is the cornerstone of giving at the College. Through this fund, alumni make gifts that invest in today's students and faculty.
Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund allow Dean Woo to direct funds toward the most immediate needs of the College and to take advantage of promising opportunities that arise during the academic year. During a time of budget cuts, support for the Annual Fund is not just important, it’s critical. Annual Fund dollars support a broad range of operations of the College including these priority initiatives of the Dean:
With well over 100,000 alumni, parents and friends, the College relies on participation in giving to the Arts & Sciences Annual Fund to maintain its strength. Currently, 7% of our alumni are active participants in the Annual Fund. Their contributions, along with those of parents and friends, raise approximately $4 million annually in unrestricted support, with gifts ranging anywhere from $10 to $100,000. Join us in our goal to increase participation, increase unrestricted support and make an immediate difference for students and faculty of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
Leadership giving to the Annual Fund is recognized by membership in the Arts & Sciences Giving Societies.
